1. Overview
Lernora LTD is a UK-registered international e-learning platform (Company No. 16765701) that allows instructors, institutes, and companies to publish educational content for global learners.
We take copyright protection seriously and expect all partners and users to comply with applicable intellectual property (IP) laws, including the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, and equivalent international laws.
2. Content Ownership
Lernora’s Intellectual Property: All platform content — including the website design, software, databases, branding, interface, and digital assets — is owned and protected by Lernora LTD (UK). This includes: Logos, trademarks, and brand visuals; Platform code, layouts, and graphics; Learning management features and proprietary tools; AI-powered learning assistants or technology developed by Lernora. You may not copy, distribute, reverse-engineer, or use any Lernora-owned assets without written permission.
Instructor & Institute Content: Instructors and partner institutes retain ownership of the original educational materials they create, including videos, text, slides, and assessments.
By uploading content to Lernora, you grant Lernora LTD a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, stream, market, and promote the content; translate or adapt materials for accessibility; and display your name and branding to promote your courses. This license enables Lernora to operate and market your courses globally while respecting your ownership rights.
3. Use of Lernora Content
Learners and visitors agree that: All courses and materials on Lernora are for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not redistribute, resell, or publicly display any course content without authorization. Downloaded or recorded materials remain subject to copyright and may not be shared. Certificates and course materials cannot be altered, replicated, or sold.
Violation of these terms may result in account termination or legal action.
4. Trademarks and Branding
The name “Lernora”, its logo, and all related graphics and marks are registered trademarks or pending trademarks of Lernora LTD (UK). You may not use the Lernora name, logo, or certification mark in any way that implies partnership, endorsement, or representation without written consent.
Partner instructors and institutes may display the “Available on Lernora” logo only under approved brand guidelines provided by Lernora’s marketing team.
5. Copyright Infringement Policy
Lernora follows a strict “Notice and Takedown” procedure for copyright complaints, modeled on the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) principles.
If you believe your copyrighted work has been used on Lernora without authorization, please send a written complaint containing: Your full legal name and contact information; A description of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed; The exact URL or course title where the alleged violation occurred; A statement that you believe, in good faith, the use is unauthorized; A statement under penalty of perjury that your claim is accurate; Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon verification, Lernora may temporarily remove or disable the content, notify the content owner, and resolve the matter in accordance with UK copyright law.
6. Counter Notification Procedure
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a Counter Notification to copyright@lernora.com containing: Your full name and contact details; A description of the content removed and its original location; A statement that you believe, in good faith, the material was removed in error; Your consent to the jurisdiction of UK courts; Your physical or electronic signature.
After receiving your counter notice, Lernora may reinstate the content unless the original complainant files legal action within 10–14 business days.
7. Repeat Infringement
Accounts found to repeatedly infringe copyright or misuse Lernora content may be: Suspended or permanently terminated, denied further partnership or publication privileges, and subject to legal action under applicable IP laws.
Lernora maintains records of infringement reports for legal compliance and repeat offender tracking.
8. Intellectual Property Violations by Partners or Learners
Lernora does not permit: Uploading third-party copyrighted content without authorization; Using Lernora materials for competitive or commercial purposes; Republishing content obtained from Lernora courses; Creating derivative works using Lernora assets without consent. Violations may lead to immediate suspension or legal proceedings.
9. Reporting Brand Misuse or Fraud
To report unauthorized use of the Lernora name, certificate templates, or brand identity, contact: legal@lernora.com. Our compliance team actively monitors and investigates misuse of our trademarks and credentials globally.
10. Governing Law
This policy is governed by and interpreted according to the laws of England and Wales. Disputes related to copyright or intellectual property will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
